Nick Smith, CRPC® Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor
Nick is a native of Memphis, TN and attended the University of Memphis where he majored in Business Management. His career in financial services began in October, 2000 with the Memphis Area Teachers’ Credit Union where he served in multiple capacities until 2010, lastly serving as Branch Manager.
After leaving MATCU in 2010, he obtained his Life and Health Insurance Producers license and joined Mutual of Omaha as a Financial Service Representative. There he earned the Bronze Starter Award in his first year with the company. In 2012, he transitioned from Mutual of Omaha and joined an independent financial services firm in Memphis, where he earned multiple accolades for performance, including Financial Representative of the Year. In 2015, Nick also received the Tri-State Defender’s Best In Black Award for Best Financial Advisor. In 2016, Nick stepped out on faith and fulfilled his desire to operate his own financial services firm and founded The Berkly Financial Firm in Memphis, TN.
Nick is a husband to his wife, Tiffany, and father to their two children, Julian and Ashlyn. He enjoys activities with family, reading industry-related material, basketball, and coaching youth sports. He earned the nickname “Professor” due to being an avid researcher and educating others with information.

Chuck Henson, Benefits Specialist / Consultant
Chuck began his career in the insurance industry in 2016 after an extensive career as a finance manager in the automotive industry. He joined The Berkly Financial Firm as a Benefits Specialist and Human Resources Consultant to small businesses. In this role, Chuck provides businesses options to satisfy their need for health insurance coverage, voluntary and involuntary benefits, as well as provide reviews of their current benefit packages.
Chuck resides in Arlington, TN with his wife, Jacquelyn and is the father of three children; Ashley, Courtney, and Connor. He enjoys spending time with his family and attending the Memphis Grizzlies games.
